The AQTF2007 saw a change in focus from input driven compliance, towards an emphasis on the outcomes achieved through training and assessment and a far greater importance placed on continuously improving products and services. Our experience in consulting and auditing tells us a few things about continuous improvement. RTOs undertake a range of activities which may result in an improvement. Generally these improvements can be seen but often are not recorded. Without records of improvements made, it is difficult to identify trends. What we saw on the market were CDs or other resources which gave you a collection of standard templates. Standard evaluation tools, standard formats for management meeting minutes, standard assessment moderation tracking sheets, standard Corrective Action Reports. We haven't seen any products that would conduct the analysis of the data you collect and then report to you what the trends are. So we designed ITA.
